Compact Guided Electric cylinder Series Elektro Multifix
Metal Work launches a new electric cylinder: Elektro Multifix.
This is a robust and compact electric cylinder that - thanks to the two guide columns - allows to move even heavy transverse loads to the rod.
Currently available having ø25, it is supplied in two versions:
- version having sintered bronze bushings with grinded, chrome-plated carbon steel rods
- version having ball recirculating bearings with hardened, chrome-plated and grinded steel piston rods.
The axial movement of the piston rod is achieved by connecting it to a ball screw nut, which is in turn moved by a hardened steel screw, whose rotation is controlled by an electric motor.
Like the other Elektro Series cylinders, also the Multifix one has a magnet on the piston, in order to send an end-of-stroke signal. Furthermore, it has a special hole for the re-greasing of the screw and the screw nut.
The electric motor can be connected in line with the cylinder or by means of a gear system; in the latter case you can choose among three different configurations.
The motor can be selected from among a wide optimized range, including either STEPPING or BRUSHLESS motors. The most suitable motor drives are also provided.
When using motors other than the ones in our catalogue, we can provide special flanges and joints on request.
