The new Module S21 is an innovative component with 8 connectors and 16 digital signals, each configurable as both input and output.

The configuration is effected via software by connecting the island's fieldbus module to a PLC. In addition, the signals of the first two connectors can also be used as inputs for reading direct current motor encoders (VDC).

Each 4-pin connector allows the management of two signals (a pair of pins for each connector). The connection must therefore be made with the 4-pin M8 connector already available in our catalogue (code 0240010105).

A new Y connector will also be available soon, which will allow the 4-pin connection signals to be split onto two 3-pin M8 connectors.
